Lifelong Cat Mom!

I'm a composer and mother to a grown daughter who, like me, is a dyed-in-the-wool cat lover ;)

My mother got me my first cat when I was 5 years old, and I've been a cat person ever since. In addition to loving cats--what's not to love?--I learned how to feed and care for them (we always had at least two ;) early on, and carried the tradition on with my own daughter, who got her first cat when she was five also. I actually got the idea to get into cat sitting from her--I take care of her cat whenever she goes out of town on business, and both she and her kitty are satisfied customers.

I take good care of my own kitty, varying her food at each meal (she's finicky) scooping her litter twice a day (we're both fastidious) and giving her treats. She wakes me up in the morning by nuzzling my head and gently touching my face with a soft paw (I trained her to keep her talons in) to let me know she's hungry. What a loving way to wake me up!

I'll feed your cat, give them fresh water, after washing out their food and water bowls daily. I'll clean their litter box and clean up any litter they've tracked outside it. I'll follow your care instructions to a T. If your cat is playful, we'll play; if they like treats, I'll make sure to give them just the right amount; and if they like to be pet or curl up on laps for a nap I will be more than happy to oblige--it's lovely to snuggle with a cuddly cat! But I won't force it if your cat likes their independence--I understand that each cat has a unique personality, and some aren't the cuddly type. Rest assured that your kitty will be in safe, warm hands with me.
