Hi, I’m Ella! I’m 26 and I’ve lived with cats my entire life. Originally from the UK, I moved to the US for my Master’s degree in History and I’m now a writer and researcher at a nonprofit.

I’ve had cats since birth and am known to many as “the cat whisperer”. I’ve never met a cat I didn’t get on with. I grew up with a British blue mix (Dusk) and silver tabby (Twilight), and fostered many cats during the COVID lockdowns.

I’ve raised kittens, older cats, cats with FIV and other health issues, including providing medicine. I don’t have a cat here in New York and I miss them so much!

I also grew up with birds (budgies, parrots, cockatiels), fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a dog if you need any additional help.

The cat in my profile picture is Twilight 💗 (also known as Twiglet, Old Lady Grey, and Mrs Angel).

I provide the usual necessities: food, water, litter tray cleaning. I also provide regular photo updates so you know your fur baby is in safe hands!

I am happy to do a free meeting to check in with you and get to know your cat first.

I can also administer medicine (tablets in food, eye drops, flea treatments etc).

I’ve never met a cat I didn’t get on with! Shy, playful, nervous — I am conscientious and meet the cat where they’re at.

I can spend the whole time cuddling if that’s what they want, we can play, we can exercise (lazer pen etc)…

I also love to help smooth out more difficult behaviours — eg scratching and biting as play — with a calm and kind approach.
