Writer & Cat Lover :-)

Hi! My name is Haley, and I am a writer who is about to start an MFA program at UC Davis :-)

I’ve mostly grown up with dogs due to family members having allergies to cats, but I am now the keeper of a lovely calico cat called Ginkgo~~

Prior to Ginkgo, I'd lived with two cats of roommates and happily shared in feeding, grooming, and litterbox duties. I also spent over a month caring for an elderly cat called Kiki in Salt Lake City while her artist human was away in Italy!

I also volunteered at an environmental center for two years, where I handled and cared for various kinds of animals like birds, turtles, lizards, chinchillas, and even roaches, so I have really wide-ranging animal care experience !

I am happy to offer any care that your animal needs whether they be strictly-timed feeders, clingy cuddlers, or timid hiders.

I have administered medicine through food mixing, trimmed claws (this requires a certain level of trust between me and the cat usually), and groomed tonnes of fur. The cats I’ve lived with have generally enjoyed sitting by/watching me while I read, write or knit, and I am always up for a play session when meowed at!
