Bronx Cat Whisperer

Hello! I'm Carse and I'm looking forward to hanging out with your kitties!

I've either had my own cats or been sitting for others since I was 5. I have experience with cats of all ages and personalities; I have a particular fondness feral babies and rescues and have had several of my own. I always try to interact with cats on own terms, respectful of their boundaries, and with lots of love, patience, and consistency. I have two kitties, Violette (9) and Murphy (3). Both are rescues and Murph was a feral baby but has come along way!

In my non-cat life, I'm a professor of sociology and justice studies. I travel often to Europe and East Africa.

I love cuddles but am equally happy hanging out with shyer kitties. I will give all the treats you allow and as much affection as your cats would like (or not). I send photos and an update from each visit. I have a certification in feline CPR and have navigated a number of health and behavioral issues through the years.

I am available anywhere in the Bronx or Manhattan. Parts of Queens and Brooklyn may also be possible, depending on my schedule, travel time and proximity to the train.
