Personalized, Communicative Cat Hangouts!

Hello! I'm Amanda. I recently moved to NYC from Upstate NY to continue pursuing my career in theatrical administration, with a focus in non-profit musical theatre. My two favorite things in life are theatre and cats, which brings me here!

Back home upstate, my cat serves as the Senior Vice President of the Mousing Department. In addition to mousing, she loves playing fetch, salmon, and chasing her tail. She's genuinely my best friend, and I have most enjoyed getting to know her bubbly personality since we rescued her in 2017.

My first cat, was a sweet, shy girl who had lots of unfortunate health issues toward the end of her life. Through it all, she was such a loyal friend to me and helped me through some of the toughest moments of my early life.

I began cat sitting around the age of 11, and have consistently been looking after cats since. I am an enthusiastic, hard working and independent person who genuinely enjoys any time I get to spend with cats.

When it comes to taking care of cats, my strongest skill is my ability to quickly read and adapt to your cat's personality. My first cat, who we rescued from an abusive environment, was extremely shy and not cuddly at all - I know how she felt when visitors tried to pick her up and got upset when she'd run at the sound of the doorbell. Meanwhile, my current cat is the friendliest, snuggliest girl in town. I feel confident in my awareness of the differing personality types of cats and how to adjust my care to each.

My service will include: - A free meet & greet with you and your cat - Providing fresh food and water however often they need - Cleaning litter boxes and surrounding areas, and bowls - Lots of play time, or however your cat likes to spend quality time

I promise to provide the most communicative, personalized service to both you and your cat! If you'd like a text every hour with a photo - great! If your cat prefers the blue toy over the green toy - you bet we're keeping that in mind at playtime! I prioritize peace of mind of the owner and comfort and safety of the cat over everything.
