Hello my name is Satia Byrd, I am 19 years old and a sophomore in college. Currently I dedicate time to studies but I get out of classes early giving time to show love to my cats and hopefully the cats I will cat sit.

I have been surrounded by cats from the moment I came into this world, and as early as age 5, I developed the skills to care for and shower affection upon them. When I was born, our family already had two cats, and our feline family expanded to three when we discovered a kitten abandoned on a rainy day. We named this resilient kitten Rocky, symbolizing the strength it took for him to survive at such a tender age amid the cold and rain. As the years passed, one of my beloved cats lived a remarkable 16 years before passing away. Two years later, we welcomed another cat into our home, and she brought us joy for 11 years, only to succumb of kindey failure in June 2023. Her name was Blessid

Four years ago, another of our cats peacefully reached the age of 14 before leaving us. In July 2023, we made the heartwarming decision to adopt a cat who had been abandoned along with her kitties on the streets. As of now, I am the proud caretaker of two cats, and my commitment to nurturing them with the same unwavering love that has defined my interactions with felines over the past 19 years remains stead fast.

When Blessid, my 11-year-old cat, passed away, our oldest cat, Rocky, who is currently 12 years old, went through a period of deep grief and dependence. However, with the addition of Brandy, my second current cat, who is 5 years old, he found some solace, though it's evident that he still carries the memory of Blessid in his heart. I assure you that I will extend the same love and care to any cats I have the privilege of cat-sitting, continuing the tradition that has defined my relationship with these wonderful creatures for nearly two decades.
