Veronica was wonderful with our two cats. I would recommend her to anyone and would use her services again anytime. It was the first time I used a sitter, and it worked out perfectly

Explained in detail the scope of the job along with visual illustrations (step by step videos) beforehand and she agreed and accepted. I booked the service and made payment. The job was only for a week - and on the first day during the scheduled shift, she abruptly said she was “done for the day as she had things to do” and LEFT MY CATS TO STARVE and the shift incomplete. That was it. She claimed she did not know it would take this long to do, after she wasted about an hour unnecessarily and started the actual job late. Did not communicate anything to me about what was going on during that time she wasted, so I had no idea what time she was starting. I said it would take 30 mins - 1 hour (an hour as it is the first day and I had to do somewhat of a walkthrough). She spent about 40 mins on the actual task so I was confused on what she meant by she did not know it would take this long. She clearly just said that as a form of excuse. Communication was then nonexistent throughout everything. She said she would still do the rest of the days - although she was done for the first day - then I heard nothing from her meanwhile I am still paying for the active service. I had to reach out to her in the afternoon on the second day, to which she said she was no longer fulfilling the other days. So if you did not want to do the job, why did you accept it? And in addition, you’re on a pet platform claiming you love animals and why people should trust you with their pets - when in reality, it’s clear you don’t. Leaving animals to starve because you “didn’t feel like it” knowing I would not be able to find someone else at that time was unacceptable and not the actions of someone who has a passion for animals. If you felt you did not want to complete the full task, you finish up the first day as you are well aware no one would be able to fill in that day - and then you communicate that to the person who hired you, so they can move accordingly and find a replacement for the other days. Horrible experience and a horrible representation of Rover!
