I’ve been around cats for years, and nothing feels better than earning their hard-won love. I currently have several shy cats in my life whom I sit for, gently coaxing them out for soothing scratches and exciting play time. I also lived with a roommate who owned two cats, both of whom liked to sneak into my room any time my door was left even slightly ajar. When my door was closed, one of the cats always scratched at it until I let her in, and she’d keep following me around the house! For work, I do freelance translation and calligraphy in a WFH capacity, so my schedule is quite flexible.
