I currently work part-time at a yoga studio in Manhattan so my availability is flexible. I will update the calendar space as my availability changes. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out through the conversations feature. I do have 2 dogs and husband of my own, so all I ask is for at least one day notice for a walk or stay at your home so I can plan accordingly with them. Thank you!

I take walking safety seriously and will make sure that your furry friend is leashed properly before stepping out the front door. While I don't currently crate my dogs at home, I have experience using crates with other doggies. When we have left our dogs with sitters before, we gave a long list of needs and requests so I am happy to see what your list looks like and will complete it to the best of my ability. I am open to hearing your needs regarding what a safe environment looks like for your pet, my ears are open to receiving your own wisdom that you have learned in raising your furry family member <3

A typical day
I will match your pet's energy, wherever it may be. Laying around watching their favorite doggie YouTube channel? Let's grab the pillows. Taking a hike to a local park? The leash is already in my hand. Set up mind-stimulating games and assist when needed? I am there for your furry child. Whether it's a walk, a check-in, or an overnight stay, your pet will be nourished, cuddled, given its space, or played with however they are normally with you. I want to make their experience away from you as much as routine as I can.

Cat care experience
I've spent several years caring for friends' feline companions, managing everything from feeding and cleaning litter boxes to offering special treats like yummy salmon snacks and administering medication when needed. This practical experience has refined my skills in catering to the individual preferences and health requirements of different cats, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for in their owner's absence. In the past 2 years, I cat sat for friends who were away for the holidays. One of the kitties was a beautiful Maine Coon who needed special attention to the way he liked his water poured. I gave him a little dance and a good show and he lapped the H2O right up. I am happy to oblige many requests and look forward to meeting your feline friend soon!

I know this is my second review, but it’s my second time using Shaun, and I don’t think you can ever thank someone enough when they put your mind so at ease when you have to leave behind our furry babies and we don’t want too… and know they are so well taken care of by Shaun!
I had a newly adopted 6 year old cat, who was quite unsocialized, and had just got used to me. However, I had to travel and I was completely nervous, more than usual, or leaving my fur baby at such a delicate time. I could not have left him in better hands. Truly. Shaun sent great updates and pictures for each visit and let me know any time changes that may have to had happen and checked they were ok before modifying. Very communicative and trustworthy. Absolutely hope he is always available when I need him!
Shaun took excellent care of our pets! We will definitely hire him again and recommend to other part parents. Thanks for putting our minds at ease while we were away from our pets.
