I have a flexible schedule, since I work partially remote. While based in Manhattan, I travel throughout New York City, Long Island, and the tri-state area for my dog sitting. Once, my dog sitting even took me to Costa Rica!

About Robyn B.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
When working in clients' homes, my ethos is simple: Leave the space better than you found it. I cover my own food, and I do offer light housekeeping and cleaning, especially for week-long stays. I take pride in keeping your home clean and maintained.
Information Robyn B. would like to know about your pet
All these things are helpful to know: A dog's age, rescue history, sociability with other dogs/children, activity levels, past experiences with sitters, medications, dietary/special needs, anything they're training on, etc.. I don't shy away from a high-energy, high-exercise dog!
A typical day
No one knows your pets like you! For first time visits, I take special notes on your pet's likes and loves. Whether that's squirrel or bird watching in the park, laser tag, or a KONG full of peanut butter. We'll also talk about your dog's energy levels and exercise needs. I modify my schedule based on your dog's physical activity. Favorite dog sitting activities include: park walks for puppy circles, tug-of-war, snuggling, and training games. (Like learning "paw" and "spin"!)

It's All in the Cat-titude
Cat care experience
I have been providing professional cat care for 5 years now! I ADORE cats; their grace, their independence, and their ability to keep us on our toes. Even the most social of cats establish boundaries, and a great cat sitter not only understands this, but can empathize. Questions I like to ask of cat parents to maintain their home plus animal safety: Any phobias a cat might have? Disruptive behaviors they've presented in the past? Hiding spots? Traumatic accidents? Affinity for territorial spraying? Favorite objects that provide comfort? Lure snacks? As creatures of instinct and habit, consistency for a cat ensures positive mental welfare. And that means welfare of your home! I offer personalized consultations about your ongoing kitty care schedules. Consistency and sticking to the routine are key! When offering care, I value transparency, communication, and daily check-ins. That can be done over your preferred method of text, FaceTime, or with written updates and progress notes. And, when working in clients' homes, my ethos is simple: Leave the space better than you found it! I take pride in keeping your home clean and maintained.
Reviews
We were so pleased with Robyn in her care for our Great Pyrenees, Abbie. Right from the beginning, she handled everything above our expectations. She took notes after allowing us to give her so much information about our white 117 pound marshmallow. We felt so confident leaving our home and furry family member in her hands. It wasn't easy walking away as we never had anyone ever stay in our home before so this first time experience was a gem. Our Great Pyrenees loved Robyn and they developed a bond quickly. Every night we received a report card on our Abbie. We knew if there was any significant problems, Robyn would have called us immediately. The communication was so comforting. Robyn did everything we asked of her. Nothing left out. We would not hesitate to request Robyn's services in the future. She is honest, professional, reliable, dependable, has a love for animals and works hard to please her clients.
Robyn has cared for our dogs on a couple of occasions now. We have a young pup, Bob, and an aging lady called Jessie, both Jack Russell. From the outset, Robyn is very much on the ball when it comes to communication with the pet parents. She was very diligently asking question before the first sit, and even remembered the nuanced schedules when we got her back the 2nd time. Robyn very clearly loves animals and shows great affection for her charges, but also great responsibility in keeping to schedules, diets etc. I would highly recommend Robyn for a pet sitting job, she is the best we have ever gotten to watch our doggos!
She did such a great job taking of care of both Seamus (cat) and my 2 dogs (Billy & Joel). A very happy repeat customer. I never have to worry when I’m gone and Robyn is taking care of them
Robyn is a responsible and loving pet sitter. She has watched my dog, Jake, for years and he is always so excited to see her! She is one of his favorite humans. I would reccomend Robyn to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthey sitter. She is dedicated, caring, and punctual. Your pet will fall in love with her!
