I have flexibility with my work schedule and can add in visits during my normal week. Having an animal break in my day is something I always look forward too.

At this time I am only caring for pets in clients homes. I am comfortable walking dogs, providing cat play time or dog playtime outdoors. I have an suv so in an emergency that is available.
Information Rachel B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there are any specific personality traits I need to keep in mind. I know some animals scare easily, are shy or if something makes them act out. Additionally I will use any training words you have already established to help cement the behavior you have already worked on.
A typical day
Depending on your dog a brisk walk, playtime with their favorite toys or a good belly rub would keep them engaged. I like to walk dogs in their own neighborhood but will change up the path each time to keep them interested in their environment. My cat’s currently play fetch so I am used to engaging with animals constantly.

Cat Mom ready to Love your Cats
Cat care experience
I have had cats most of my life. I am currently a cat mom to 5 that are so very different. One is shy and scared of the world. One is chill and a sunbather. One is a meany and territorial if she doesn’t get her way. And the baby loves everyone. I am comfortable with giving meds. I have administered shots and currently have a cat with asthma that uses an inhaler and give pills to 3 of them daily. I clean water fountains weekly, wash all food or standing water bowls daily and scoop litter boxes twice a day. I have more toys around my house then I can count and even a wall mounted cat tree. I will treat your babies like my own. I recently adopted a cat with 3 legs named Charlotte (her leg was broken when she was rescued) and navigated a hind leg amputation due to cancer for my girl Nelly. I am not afraid to provide your babies with the same love and care. I love animals and would be honored to help with yours. I pet sit all over New York and New Jersey and am comfortable with commuting but I also have an suv.
Reviews

As always, Rachel is a wonderful pet sitter for my two kitties! 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛

Rachel has been our go-to pet sitter and she is really the best! One of our cats is very shy and usually hides from people but he really likes Rachel!!! We also very appreciate Rachel’s help clean the mess my cats create each time…Rachel sends a lot of photos and prepares very detailed Rover Card which we always look forward to reading when we are away. We are so grateful to have Rachel as our pet sitter and I’m sure the cats feel the same way!

Rachel always goes above and beyond. She not only took care of our cat very well, but also our plants and mails.

Rachel is always so communicative and caring for our cat! He loves when she watches him!
