With a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home two days a week, I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and companionship. I also offer overnight stays to help pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away. I provide care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and stress-free environment while their owners are away. I make it a priority to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I always take the time to build trust and make them feel safe, calm, and cared for. In addition to meeting their daily needs, I also provide plenty of attention, companionship, and affection so pets feel comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it’s keeping an energetic dog active with walks and playtime or giving a cat quiet companionship and care, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I also make sure owners feel reassured by providing updates, photos, and clear communication throughout the stay.

I’ve been a dedicated cat owner for over 15 years and have experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I truly understand the patience, love, and attention cats need to feel comfortable and secure. I also have experience giving medication to my own cats, so I’m confident handling pets that may require extra care or special routines. Most recently, I raised my own kitten from just one month old, which gave me even more hands on experience with young kittens, feeding schedules, socialization, and providing gentle, attentive care. Whether your cat is playful, shy, energetic, or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

Melanie has helped me care for my fur baby over the past 2 years! You could not trust a better person with your pet!! Melanie genuinely cares about all animals as if they were her own. You would be lucky to leave your fur babies with her:) I never worry when Teddy is left with her, which is super important. Could not recommend anyone more!!
Melanie is such a sweet and caring person. She goes above and beyond for people’s pets. My flight had been delayed and I couldn’t pick up my pup on time and she said there was no problem and was quick to help me. She is also very responsible and quick responses all the time. She will send pet updates in real time and my pets love her.
