When I come into your and your animal's space I will treat it as so. Pets deserve just as much respect for their homes as you would give to a person. Of course, once they've shown me that they are comfortable and ready for me to be in their space, I would love to take them for a walk or play with them. I will be more than happy to get some of their energy out by playing with them. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds so I understand how to safely play and care for them. If you need me to feed your pet, monitoring them while they eat is expected, in case of any emergency or to manage multiple pets with different food needs. Any other emergencies regarding potty accidents or more are not a problem and I will be sure to contact you immediately if needed.

I'd love to know any boundaries or special needs they have. I want to make this experience for them with a stranger as comfortable as possible. I would be more than happy to meet beforehand as well to discuss this and get to know each other!
A typical day
A fun trip to the park with a big open field to run and play in. Maybe if we're feeling adventurous walk through a wooded path. Fetch is a mandatory game but I'll also suggest that we race, and tug of war. Don't worry, I go to the gym regularly so I am prepared to take on a dog of any size :) After all of that, we would head home and wind down with some belly rubs and some water to rehydrate. If you have more of an indoor pet, I am more than happy to take time to shower them with attention. Providing lots of pets, time to slow down and check in is top of my list!

While I haven’t owned cats myself, I have cared for them in my time on rover and have friends and family with cats whom I adore. I understand the differences in boundaries and care between cats and dogs, and I am fully equipped to follow your feline friend’s quirky routine!

Megan watched our two cats for a week while we were on vacation. I found her to be extremely reliable, proactive, and responsive to all communication. I would highly recommend her.
Megan is both a responsible and loving pet caregiver. She has been raising a healthy and happy Yorkshire terrier for years . Megan takes her dog for long walks and provides all the necessities. Most recently, she gave him a spa day that included a bath, a haircut, a good brushing of his teeth, and a massage. She has had other experiences with dogs too. She has been a "dog sitter" for three very active dogs over a long weekends. Her love for animals extends to other animals. She frequently visits a Feral to Family organization to pet and provide comfort to homeless and abandoned cats and kittens on Long Island. She is raising a leopard gecko and a corn snake and has researched all they need and provides shelter, food, play time and love for them as well. I highly recommend Megan to you.
