Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I focus on creating a safe, fun, and structured environment for every pet. We’ve recently added a secure fence to our extra-large backyard so visiting pups now have a spacious, supervised play area to run, explore, and burn off energy. In addition, I make sure dogs stay active and engaged with daily walks around the neighborhood, tailored to their age and energy level. In a client’s home, I maintain their pet’s routine as closely as possible—feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and walks—so they feel comfortable and cared for in their familiar space. My goal is always to provide consistency, safety, and lots of loving attention, whether I’m hosting your pet or caring for them in your home.

Information Maria L. would like to know about your pet
It’s important to specify your dog’s feeding schedule, bathroom break routine, and any unique preferences or dislikes they may have. Please also bring their bed, food, and favorite treats, as every dog—just like humans—can have sensitivities or intolerances to certain products or brands.
A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s energy level and personality so they feel happy, engaged, and comfortable. Typically, we enjoy refreshing morning and afternoon walks, plus lots of playtime with toys in the backyard. I also love incorporating mentally stimulating games—like doggy puzzles, scent games, or indoor fetch—especially on rainy days or for pets who enjoy a good brain challenge. No matter their style, I make sure every pet gets the perfect mix of exercise, enrichment, and fun.

Cats are cute and fun!
Cat care experience
I don’t just watch cats—I care for them with the same attention and affection I give to my own. I’ve had pets my entire life, and I’ve also worked professionally with a pet-sitting company, where I gained hands-on experience with cats of every temperament, age, and personality. I understand that cats thrive when their routines feel safe and predictable, so I make it a priority to learn their habits, preferences, and boundaries. Whether your cat is shy, senior, playful, or a certified lap-lover, I adapt to their pace and comfort level. I’m experienced in administering medications, including oral meds and topical treatments, and I’m patient with senior kitties who may need a little extra support. Cleanliness is also incredibly important to me—I keep litter boxes spotless, food areas tidy, and your home as neat (or neater!) than you left it. Most of all, I genuinely enjoy building trust with cats. I take time to talk to them, play with them, and make sure they never feel lonely while you’re away. My goal is that you come home to a relaxed, happy cat—and complete peace of mind.
