I work as a psychotherapist remotely and own my own private practice, so my schedule is very flexible! Because I control my schedule, my availability can be tailor-made to fit your needs and the needs of your pet. I’m available for daily drop-ins, walks, and house sits for when you treat yourself to a getaway!

Please let me know if there are any needs or behaviors that you feel would be important for me to know prior to caring for your fur baby! For example, if there are any dietary restrictions, any history of health concerns, what they like and dislike, and how they behave on walks. Additionally, I like to have emergency contacts, including your pet's veterinarian. It's important to be prepared, and I want to make sure I can best care for your pet in the case of an emergency!
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks and allowing them to sniff, explore, and enjoy their exercise! I allow each dog to lead when it's safe to let them have little adventures, but I'm always careful and aware of our surroundings throughout our walk. I allow sniffing and exploring, as this is mentally stimulating and fun for pups! I make walks enjoyable for each dog, as well as myself, by allowing adventure and by using WoofTrax to donate to charity. Fun, safety, and conscientiousness are the most important parts of each walk!

Cat care experience
I’ve raised and taken care of cats since I was a child - I grew up with cats, and as soon as I reached adulthood I rescued a cat of my own and now have two adorable fur babies! I’ve cared for my cats, as well as other people’s, for over a decade, with love, patience, and so much kindness. I treat each person’s beloved cat as if they were my own. I believe cats teach us healthy boundaries, so I allow each cat to take their time to warm up to me, and I make sure they feel safe, secure, and loved! I have significant experience working with anxious/stray cats that may be wary at first, and I truly enjoy watching them build trust and comfort through patience and kindness. I make sure each cat receives what brings them joy, including playtime, favorite treats, fresh food and water, a clean litter box and lots of love! I would love to care for your fur baby :)

Katherine is great with my cat. I worry because Addie is not very friendly but she seems to love Katherine which makes me much less concerned when I am away.
