Safety, trust & environment
With my experience in animal behavior, I can recognize signs of discomfort, fear, or nervousness in dogs. I use gates for safety and am comfortable with crate training. Although I live in a building, I am vigilant about any risks since I have my own dog. If your pet has any specific needs, please let me know!

Information Karla O. would like to know about your pet
• What is your dog’s typical daily routine (feeding times, walks, naps)? • Does your dog have any triggers, fears, or behavioral sensitivities? • How does your dog interact with other dogs and with new people? • Are there any medical conditions, medications, or special care needs I should know about? • Does your dog have any food allergies, sensitivities, or treat restrictions? • Is your dog crate trained or used to safety gates? • Is there anything else that helps your dog feel comfortable, safe, or at ease while away from home?
A typical day
A typical day is calm, structured, and tailored to each dog’s needs. We start the morning with potty breaks and a walk, followed by breakfast and some downtime to relax and settle in. Throughout the day, I provide supervised play, enrichment activities, and mental stimulation using toys, puzzles, or gentle training games—always based on your dog’s energy level and comfort. I incorporate additional walks and potty breaks as needed, and if the weather allows, we may visit a nearby park for a change of scenery. Rest periods are built into the day so dogs aren’t overstimulated, especially puppies and seniors. In the evening, we wind down with another walk, dinner, and a calm bedtime routine. Because I work from home, your dog is closely supervised, follows a consistent routine, and receives plenty of attention, affection, and care throughout the day.

Reviews

Karla was amazing! She was flexible, patient, and kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout my baby’s entire stay. She was also incredibly responsive, which gave me so much peace of mind. I will 100% be booking with her again. Thank you so much, Karla!
I could not recommend her enough! Over the years, she has taken care of my dog angel (who has now sadly passed to the rainbow bridge) I have seen her Growing up and learning how to take care of all types of animals and the care and attention that she gave my dog still makes me happy. When I get another dog she will be my first stop if I ever need someone to take care of them! If you have any hesitation she makes you feel at ease with the knowledge that she has.She has shown me that age has nothing to do with the amount care she can give your pet.
