I am currently in my final year of my graduate program, so my availability for house sitting is primarily on weekends. Safety, trust & environment

I offer pet boarding for CATS ONLY. My family and I have a separate unit located behind our home where your kitties would stay, allowing them to have their own quiet and comfortable space. Since we have cats of our own, we keep boarding cats separate to avoid stress for both your pets and ours. There is always someone home to check in on them, make sure they’re fed, and give them plenty of attention and care. For boarding stays, I ask that you provide your cat’s specific food, along with their preferred litter box and litter, so they can feel as at-home as possible. I have plenty of toys available to keep them entertained and engaged. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I focus on keeping your pet comfortable in their own home while providing attentive, reliable care. I offer both 30-minute and 60-minute drop-in visits, during which I can feed your pets, refresh water, provide playtime and companionship, take dogs on walks if needed, and make sure all of their needs are met. My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

Information Jenna N. would like to know about your pet

When I book with a client, I like to know a few important things about your pet so I can provide the best care and help everyone feel comfortable. I’d love to know your pet’s daily routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and sleep habits, so I can keep things as consistent as possible. It’s also helpful to know about your pet’s personality, such as whether they’re energetic, shy, cuddly, or anxious in new environments. I like to ask how your pet does around other animals, children, and new people, as well as any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. Please share any medical needs, allergies, medications, or health concerns, along with what to do in case of an emergency. Knowing your pet’s training level, leash manners, and whether they are house-trained or crate-trained is also very helpful.

A typical day

A typical day with the pets I watch is fun and centered around their individual needs. Depending on what your pet needs, we start the day with potty breaks, feeding, and a calm walk or play session to help them ease into the morning. Throughout the day, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment, whether that’s walks, backyard play, toys, or quiet cuddle time. I follow each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. Depending on the service booked, I provide scheduled walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, making sure pets are never rushed and always feel cared for. I love incorporating fun activities like neighborhood walks, toys, basic training reinforcement, and playtime that matches your pet’s energy level. In the evenings, we wind down with dinner, another potty break or walk, and a relaxed time together. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel connected and confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well-loved.

Cat care experience

I’ve been fostering kittens since I was around 14 and have over 10 years of experience caring for cats. Through fostering, I’ve gained hands-on experience with bottle feeding, administering medications, and supporting kittens through their early development. My family and I also adopted two cats during the pandemic, and they are very loved members of our home. I truly love cats and would be a great, reliable choice to care for yours.

Great communication on the status of my cat while we were away - gave me much relief to have pictures on each visit. Absolutely loved that she expressed how much she loved hanging out with my cat. Came home with clean litter and fresh food and water. Thank you!

Jenna was our first cat-sitter from Rover, and she was more than we could've hoped for! She stayed over with our two cats, sent great updates and pics, and the cats and our house were all very happy. Jenna even got our timid cat to warm up and sit on her lap, which speaks volumes about her great animal energy. We would definitely book Jenna again to sit for our boys. Thanks Jenna, and thanks Rover.com!!

Jenna did a great job in caring for our two cats while we were away. She communicated when there was a slight probably and was helpful in resolving the issue. We loved her photos of our cats and her messages about them when she came to care for them. We will definitely use her again when we need cat care!
