Anything and everything you can let me know about your pet's personality, behavior, needs and preferences - too much info is not a thing. I require all pets I stay with be up to date on vaccines and vet info provided in case of an emergency.
A typical day
I am flexible - if your pet has a rigid schedule I will follow it to the letter. If they are more “go with the flow” I will follow their lead (and yours, of course). A typical day with your pet is ideally as close to what they are used to as possible. I can provide exercise/mental stimulation and keep your pet consistent with training if applicable, or shorter walks/play sessions and lots of cuddle time if they are older or less energetic.

Cat care experience
Headline says it all - I am of the mind that cats, though more independent by nature, are just as important as dogs in terms of having their needs (and wants) met when their parents are away. If your cat is shy or likes to hide, I would never try to force them to play/be social, but I find that usually just having a human presence comforts them. I've had both social and anti-social cats and am very adept at reading cat behavior and taking their lead. Cats are highly intelligent and I love getting to know their different personalities and spending quality time with them on their terms while providing excellent care with regard to their everyday needs. In addition to my years of professional pet sitting experience, I also previously had 4 cats of my own and fostered cats for a couple of years when I had the space to do so.

Jen is the best! Our cat had some unexpected issues while we were away and Jen really went above and beyond to make sure he was ok. We were able to finish the rest of our trip with peace of mind knowing he was well cared for.
Jen did a fantastic job taking care of my cat while I was away, was careful and respectful of property, very reliable and communicated updates regularly. This was the most relaxed my anxious cat was upon return. Would highly recommend Jen for pet sitting needs!
