I feel that I speak the language of cats. I have been an adoring cat mom to my boy Charlie for 7 years (who I found in the woods as a kitten and nurtured into a strong healthy adult!), and I can tell when a cat needs attention and enrichment or just needs to be left alone. I am very particular about cleanliness and will not leave a grain of litter out of place.
