I grew up with cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, and I love them all! Having a family member who works at an animal hospital / shelter, we were always bringing in new friends, whether they were permanent or fosters. Having such a busy household with these pets, I learned how to care in many ways. Some animals need more or less attention, some need medication that isn't always easy to administer, some can't quite make it outside to potty and leave behind a mess. It happens!!! I have a great understanding that these animals are your family, and deserve to be treated as such. In every service I provide, I can guarantee care, love and patience. I know things come up, schedules change and I can usually be flexible and accommodating to such instances.

Please let me know of any conditions, medications or behaviors I should be aware of. Preferred walking route for dog walk bookings is ideal! It would also be good to know a little about their personalities :) Are they skittish, friendly, aggressive, etc..
A typical day
We go for long (or short!) walks, play with their favorite toys! If they're worn out, we lay around and hang out. Whatever we're up to, they're getting all of my attention and love.

I’ve had cats since I was a kid and have three myself, all of whom are very different in personality and care. I’m a hands-on caretaker and happy to do what’s needed to maximize their care experience— if they need a super tidy litter box everyday, it’ll be done, if they need miralax in their food, you got it! Even if they’re a little shy and don’t come out, I’ll make sure to do everything I can to make them comfortable (I usually have good luck with shy cats!)

Chandler is absolutely amazing! I get a little anxious when I leave my elderly cat, but I always know he’s in the best hands with Chandler. She’s also very communicative and flexible when I need to make changes.
We met Chandler last minute before a long trip, and she jumped in and took wonderful care of our cat and home. She was very informative with daily updates, was on time with our requested feeding schedule, sent us photos and friendly summary of her daily time with our cat, and overall gave us peace of mind while we were away. Chandler even made sure to visit during a blizzard! She cleaned used bowls, kept the kitchen very clean, and even took out the used cans from wet food. We will gladly ask her to help us in the future, and would highly recommend to anyone.
One of the best cat sitters in NYC! She truly cares about your pets, and it’s so clear she is a true lover of cats :)
