Right I’m working part-time as a babysitter while I attend classes at Columbia University. Taking care of pets is what keeps me happy & motivated. I have a lot of time during the mornings and weekends to care for pets.

About Caroline B.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I provide a calm and cozy environment with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable. I have two friendly female cats—3-year-old sisters—who are well-socialized and used to having other pets around. I also have a large fenced yard, which is a rare find in the heart of Manhattan, giving dogs a safe space to explore and play under supervision. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and preferred activities, to make sure they feel right at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and maintain your pet’s usual routine, providing lots of love, attention, and care to keep them happy and stress-free while you’re away.

Information Caroline B. would like to know about your pet
It’s really important for me to know each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs they might have. Things like their feeding schedule, favorite toys or activities, and how they usually behave around new people or animals help me make them feel comfortable and cared for. I also like to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or if they need medications, as well as how they handle things like grooming, loud noises, or being alone. The more I know about what makes your pet happy (or anxious), the better I can personalize their care and keep them feeling safe and loved while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day with me starts with making sure your pet feels comfortable and loved. For cats, that might mean a gentle morning greeting, fresh food and water, and a clean litter box to start the day right. I love spending time playing with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, or just relaxing with them if they prefer calm companionship. For dogs, we’ll enjoy some outdoor time in my fenced yard or go on a nice walk to get energy out. I always tailor activities to each pet’s personality—whether that’s active play, cuddle time, or just being a quiet presence. Throughout the day, I make sure they stick to their routine, get plenty of attention, and have a cozy spot to nap. The goal is always to keep them happy, relaxed, and entertained while you’re away.

Experienced Cat Sitter & Lover
Cat care experience
I’ve been taking care of cats for over 20 years, and during that time I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs, quirks, and behaviors. From playful kittens to senior cats requiring extra attention, I’ve cared for them all. I’m experienced with administering medications, sticking to specific diets, and creating a calm, clean environment—yes, I even enjoy deep-cleaning litter boxes because I know how much cats appreciate a fresh space. I’m also very in tune with feline body language, so I can quickly adapt to whether your cat wants affection, playtime, or just a quiet companion. What sets me apart is my lifelong love for cats, combined with years of hands-on experience and a commitment to treating each cat like my own.
Reviews

This is my third time working with Caroline and she has been amazing! Super attentive to details and very responsive. Teddy has come to really like her too. I’ll definitely be rebooking Caroline for the future

Caroline was so wonderful! Our two cats greatly enjoyed her and she took excellent care of them. We really appreciated how communicative Caroline was and the daily updates on the cats that she provided while we were away. We had never left the cats before and with Caroline watching them we had no worries about leaving them at all! She sent great kitty pics too😊

We came back to board Miko again, and as soon as he arrived he immediately went to play with Stormy 😂 At this point, he basically treats Caroline’s home like his own home. We always feel really comfortable leaving Miko here, and we’ll definitely come back again for boarding during the summer!

Caroline’s the best! My cat was in very good hands while I was away. She is great at communicating and providing updates as well
