As a freelance illustrator, I set my own work hours so drop-ins can be very flexible. I prefer to schedule no early than 8AM and no later than 8PM, but I'm happy to work a little outside of those times with communication!

I'd like to have a phone call with the owner to establish familiarity before the drop-in. I'm also happy with stopping by before the booking to meet in person so that we both feel more secure. Upon arriving, I'll be checking to see where your pet is, making sure they're okay and checking their mood. I will send updates when I'm there and before I leave so you're in the know as much as possible. I'm also happy to pick up mail and water plants.

Please let me know how your cat is with strangers. Will they need time to adjust when I get there or can I expect them to hide the entire time? Are they sensitive to loud noises? Do they try to escape the minute the door is open? Any information you can tell me is very helpful!
A typical day
Cats can have so many personalities so I like to meet them where they're at. I've handled cats that are very into toys and ones that like a more hands-on type of play like chasing/hunting. If they simply want to sit in the same space with me, I'll sit and read/draw with some light music in the background. Drop-ins will be at least 30 minutes and no longer than an hour. If they need to be fed within that time, they will be.

I'm an illustrator, born and raised in NYC. I also teach college students in graphic design. I have had and been around cats most of my life! My first and cherished was Celo who ran to me at the shake of cat treats. The longest cat I have is my baby Kevin (8), who literally followed me home, and we've been together ever since! I'm also a proud auntie to my besties' cats, Lucas (4), Omi (11 months), Lola (14) and Moo Moon (19). I love to play Dungeons and Dragons and other ttrpgs (as a player and GM!). I like to crochet while sitting with any cat and watching shows.
