Though my brother was the official “dog person” in the family (he worked at a dog school), I’ve developed a deep love and confidence with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I'm comfortable administering medications, playing, and walking, especially in the early mornings, which I genuinely enjoy.

It’s always helpful to know your pet’s routine, energy level, and any quirks they may have—what makes them happy, what stresses them out, and how they communicate. I’d also love to know if they have any medical needs, allergies, leash reactivity, or special instructions for feeding, walks, or play. If they’re anxious, shy, or selective with people or other animals, that’s completely okay—I just want to be prepared so I can give them the best possible care, tailored to their personality.
A typical day
I love starting the day with a long, energizing walk—usually 60 to 90 minutes—perfect for dogs who enjoy stretching their legs and getting some early morning excitement. Around noon, especially in hot weather, I prefer a shorter, more relaxed walk to keep things safe and comfortable. In the cooler evenings, we head out again for a longer walk with some playtime—especially if there’s a dog park nearby! If the pup needs extra potty breaks throughout the day, I’m happy to include those as well. I usually wind down around 10 p.m. and love waking up early, so your pet’s routine will be in caring, consistent hands.

Even though I grew up in a household that didn’t allow cats, I was always drawn to them and I’ve spent the last 15 years making up for lost time. I currently live with three beloved rescue cats, including one with special needs. In addition to volunteering with rescue organizations, I rescued and rehabilitated more than 20 cats. This hands-on experience taught me to handle just about anything, medication, behavior quirks, special diets, and knowing when a vet visit is truly needed. I recently moved to the U.S. and plan to continue my rescue work once I am settled in a more permanent home. Until then, I’m here to offer reliable, loving care for your feline family members, complete with clean litter boxes and plenty of chin scratches.

Anikó is exactly the kind of person you want caring for a senior cat. Bruno is getting on in years, so handing him over to someone new always comes with a little anxiety — but Anikó put that to rest immediately. She brushed him, trimmed his nails, and when an unexpected health issue came up, handled it swiftly and kept us fully in the loop. That kind of calm good judgment is hard to find. She sent beautiful photos and videos throughout (a few are now permanent additions to Bruno’s collection), and I came home to little gifts like eye masks waiting for me. She’d even gifted Bruno a silver vine toy, which he loves. I’m certain he misses her. We’ll definitely be booking again if she’s available!
Aniko took amazing care of my senior kitties. She earned their trust quickly and sent me continuous reports on how they were doing following all my directions on feeding. She even sent over daily videos of treat time playing. Above that, she took amazing care of my apartment and let in handyman as needed to take care of things. I highly recommend booking her! And plan to do so again myself.
Both my cats loveee Aniko! She is very caring, attentive, and takes great photos of the cats. I would definitely book her again.
